Community Meth Response
Applications are no longer being accepted for this program.The Community Methamphetamine Response Program was developed in 2005 with funding from the Ministry of Public Safety and the Solicitor General. The intent of the program was to encourage the development of educational strategies and build capacity for a community response to the issue of crystal methamphetamine use and production.
Grants of up to $10,000 were available to develop educational campaigns, implement awareness strategies or build capacity for community response to methamphetamine use or production. A total of 160 local governments, First Nations, and community groups had projects funded under the program.
